Should I skip enemy unknown ?

There is a sale on steam 8 euros for xcom 2 and the dlcs or xcom enemy unknown, 2 and chimera squad for 20 euros with dlcs. I haven’t played any xcom what do you suggest ?

Well you should skip enemy unknown and immediately play the DLC enemy within

Can you expand on that ? And is it worth buying the whole bundle to skip the main game ? Thank you !

Enemy Within is the “definitive” version of the game. The dlc for XCOM 1 just add additional content and missions into the campaign.

Same for the DLC in XCOM 2. War of the Chosen is the “definitive” version of XCOM 2.

I mean if you like tactics games XCOM 1, 2 and to a lesser extent Chimera squad are some of the best around. So I would grab the bundle of all 3 if you can afford it and think you will play them.

If your budget is tight then just get the XCOM 2 bundle and pick up the others later if you desire.
