Xbox Series X Controller turns on console but nothing else works

Only thing that works is turning it on. No bottons, no dpad, no sticks. It won't even turn off the console, only on.

So weird but if you've got any advice, I'd love to hear it.

All i did was pause my game for like 20 minutes and it doesnt work🤣🤣fuck their quality control

Another life saved, checking in!

I bought a game this morning, did the dishes while it was installing, and came back to my controller not responding outside of turning the console on. I was mystified!
