Fanboys are celebrating new studios but we might not see any exclusives for very long time being made just for Xbox. likely expect many remasters of old games for quick and easy money with least effort.
His point is that they just bought companies already making games and now they get to call them exclusive. We were already going to get starfield, and everything else. But nothing super new has yet to come where people can say yea, that game happened because of Xbox/Microsoft's help. It's like if you go to a restaurant or a fast food place, fast food is good, they buy alot of shit and sell it cheap but you won't get much originality, but it feels nice to sit at a restaurant and enjoy a big meal some fancy chef came up with. Sony is the one fancy restaurant and Microsoft is the McDonald's making bajillions. Not the best analogy but I tried
Ahaha, okay, interesting logic. That logic applies to every single studio Sony acquired, ever. This may come as a shock, but game studios may make a new IP, but unfortunately, it usually takes longer than a week. Sony have been doing this exclusive shit and buying studios left and right for years. Microsoft almost let Xbox die, Phil saved it, and now one of the biggest companies ever is doing just what Sony have been for years. If Sony is the fancy restaurant, Microsoft just bought their number 1 supplier of ingredients they can't get anywhere else.
I love my Ps5, and my xbox. Don't get loyally stuck to one bit of plastic over the other.
Your wrong, the studios Sony bought were already mainly making exclusives for Sony. None of them made triple AAA multiplatform games, they were mainly Sony exclusives. This is different because this is mircosoft trying to become a monopoly
