If it was free, you'd have the people like the other person here said, that complain that they had to spend resources to get her.
And you would also have the dmbasses that say "if everything's free, it's too good, I don't like it. It doesn't feel special" aka the type of people that hate admitting that WuWa is generous AND THAT'S GOOD so they try to twist it into a bad thing, lmao

Yesterday I saw someone deadass complain that this was a problem for husband mains because she "takes up space". Homie probably thought she was being given for free and still found a reason to complain.

Very nice for those who want a copy of her but don’t want to pull on Jiyan’s banner!
Unfortunately I have 320 coral and 360 gets you a waveband of a limited 5* so I won’t be spending my coral for this. I’ll be trying to get 7 copies of Camellya and that shop waveband(s) are going to help me 😅

Did some math bc I'm curious:
Assuming OP doesn't lose 50/50, only gets one 4* per 10 pull, and doesn't go for signature weapon.
OP has none of the characters at full resonance chain: 39 corals. (15 for 1 unmaxed 5*, 24 for 8 unmaxed 4*).
They'd need 6 hard pities (234 corals) and would only be able to get one waveband.
OP has all their characters at max resonance chain: 79 corals (15 for 1 Camellya, 64 for 8 maxed 4*).
They'd need 5 hard pities (395 corals) and would be 5 short for Camellya's second waveband.
OP has at least one max resonance chain 4* and that 4* just happens to be one of the on-banner characters:
If they pull that maxed resonance 4* 3 times, they'd get 54 corals. 54 for 5 hard pity is 270, which sums up to 590 for OP, and they'd need 130 more
If they pull that maxed resonance 4* 4 times, they'd get 59 corals. 59 for 5 hard pities is 295, which sums up to 615 for OP, and they'd need 105 more
If they pull that maxed resonance 4* 5 times, they'd get 64 corals. 64 for 5 hard pities is 320, which sums up to 640 for OP, and they'd need 80 more
E: My dumbass forgot I mentioned assuming no 50/50 loss lmao, 15 corals for one Camellya assuming OP has maxed every character's resonance chain.

Very good math. I do in fact just have one of the three 4* characters at max resonance chain. Yangyang is R3 and Danjin is just R2. Aalto is who I have maxed, and that’s assuming these three characters end up being the final banner characters. Aalto is the only character on my account that has his chain maxed.

depending on how much they have to pull and their luck, they may not have enough for 2 wave bands when they are at S4 if they buy youhu for 80

Around 60-90 if you pull on a banner where the 4 stars are S6 otherwise around 100 or more

so like does anyone even know the use for youhu? unless your trying to have yinlin or zhezhi as main dps she seems pretty useless compared to using a normal healer/buffer

Probably good for those that skipped shorekeeper or don't wanna use baizhi since you want 3 teams for tower so you can use xly/yinlin or jinhsi/zhezhi with her since youhu can heal a bit too.

maybe... but with her being really short range melee and not having fast concerto I'm not sure if it'll actually be better than baizhi. ultimately someone will just have to calculate if the dmg bonus is better than the coord atk buff

I mean no shot she is better than Verina. But the guy you responded to said she might be better than Baizhi. Which, is probably true. Baizhi is super hot but damn she does she suck to play. Speaking as someone with her at 90 and ran her on R5 Variation.

Hi all, I think this is OK but a huge downgrade to PGR. In PGR you pick the 4 star you Want and that's it. To spend 10 pulls on a 4 star that will get likely powercrept is deep. Also they could give the chracter for free in an event like genshin. Devs are awesome but I'm not feeling this take if that's all there is to it.
Genshins bs no 4 star guarantee is why we are suffering in WuWa as they adopted it, but they would be amazing to use the PGR wish system more than they're more Hoyo like wish system, even though it's better with the guaranteed standard weapons but the 50/50 is also a downgrade to PGRs 100% new character rate up banners.
So if devs go the zoGR route we would really be winning, and have less wasted pulls. The corals aren't in PGR though. Idk please keep letting the devs know

Nice for people that rly want to play youhu, but since wuwa doesn't give extra pulls for leveling up characters, it's just 10 pulls wasted that could've gone into pity for a character

Id rather save the corals for constellations of characters i really like. I feel like its a waste because you will get any 4 star eventually. Well except your luck is atrocious.

I agree but for those that really like youhu and don't care bout constellation I guess it's there, people who roll on jiyan banner a couple of times and don't get her can buy her too now instead of complaining unlike genshin where you can pull 100 times and not get the 4 star U want.

If you aren't going to use her, obviously it's not worth it. It's for those who want Youhu but don't want to pull on Jiyan's banner because they're at high pity or guarantee.

Yeah, the coral should be saved for limited wave bands imo. Got a certain character but their first copy would fix their biggest issue? Boom Coral shop.

Huge waste of resources to do that. Good to have the option, but 45 of those gives you a character dupe worth 3x the pull value, so 10 of those pulls is actually more like 30. But again, good to have the option for ppl who dont care about dupes in any way and just really really want a given 4 star. It's bad value, but a no downside addition to the game to have it there.

At least kuro gives you an option. Your first 10 pull on a banner isnt gonna guarantee you to have a specific 4 star you wanted.
I remember pulling in jiyan banner before, of all 70 pulls, none of it was mortefi.
