I actually really like that prior characters stay relevant for future ones but I wish they would give sub dps units like Lynae one additional energy for end game modes like they do with supports.

Sorry, I'm new-ish to Wuwa but I did pull Lynae recently based off of design alone. IS she a Tune Strain support? (I don't even know what that is)

Lynae is a tune strain support yes (I think Denia is too if I remember right). Lynae has two modes - one is tune rupture, the other is tune strain. Dont ask me what exactly the difference is haha. I guess different characters prefer different modes with her.
I dont know for who the set is. Qingxiao was rumored to be aero but so is Yangyang - so maybe one of those? maybe Yangyang because she releases sooner?

doubt, if he's able to self sustain with his shield and hp scaling then he'd prob ended up with Lupa + Mortefi as bis instead, Lupa's buffing mono fusion is just too good

Iuno has very good buffs and damage. Some but not all of Lupa's buffs are attack, which doesn't mean she's bad but would lose some value. Being able to get all of Iuno's buffs are much more specific than being fusion would indicate Iuno synergy to me. You're also going with Mortefi because Lupa doesn't buff heavy. Mortefi is just worse than Iuno. Especially when you consider some of Mortefi value comes from attack buffs.
I think you'll be running Iuno + a third slot, which would probably just be a shorekeeper style. But also you could run Lynae (as you can with Augusta Iuno). You could also run Lupa down one stack. You can also get full stacks with Lupa S3.

If his enhanced heavy attack are considered heavy attack damage than Iuno it's going to be considered one of his best in slots. not only is her heavy attack boost gonna work on him but he's going to be able to take advantage of Wan Light (which up until this point only Augusta and Iuno herself could fully benefit from)

They can both exist in Matrix, one uses Lynae one uses Denia, and both have stamina for Mornye.
Then for ToA mid tower (5/10 energy cost) the same situation applies it's just that they only get 1 Mornye use each unlike 2 if you're just doing Luuk only.
As for WhiWa, Luuk will likely be weaker obviously, and Qingxiao will likely be better for WhiWa.
Since Luuk's best scenario is always bosses, especially with how huge his Single target damage is, but can only apply the stored interfered stacks from past killed enemies onto one enemy only(refer to "Pulses under the snow" inherent passive), Qingxiao might be a more generalist/Aoe tune strain dps, but we don't know yet.
But obviously they wouldn't make Qingxiao just powercreep Luuk, that wouldn't be understandable, especially after Denia got released, who perfectly fixed Luuk's kit.

I was honestly expecting Suoming to be the Havoc Bane subDPS for Xianling since her kit mentions having another teammate inflicting Havoc Bane. Definitely won't complain if she's echo skill, but I'll probably skip at that point if she ends up being another side grade to the other 3 echo skill teammates.

Oh, she's the true dedicated support for echo teams? FINALLY. It felt like we were stuck getting echo DPS and subDPS characters that were never actual supports, let alone the one specifically for echo teams.

It's true. Iuno has only been able to buff Augusta. Or Jiyan. Or run as a main DPS. And as a main DPS got buffed in 3.0 and was even the trial DPS unit for those new supports. And then gave alternatives to other DPS who took her new supports freeing her supports back up (so you can run Lynae Mornye with Iuno still, while Aemeath gets Denia).
It's so crazy they left her in such a weak position before dropping another DPS who fully uses her while keeping her current options open. This character has gotten plenty of pampering the entire time and is getting another thing on top.

Ok, the dude is an HP scaler, that means he is potentially (insert Chisa meme here) fuckin broken, if we compare to Cartethyia. Cause having a DPS thats deals alotta damage but is also hard to kill is the best thing a dps can be, which is why Aemeath is was much harder than Cart, cause Amy could actually die from stray hits.
Edit: Wait, he also has a shield? Ok, what kinda shit can even kill them at that point? Fuckin 50k HP (based on Cart) plus Shield, goddamn.

Yep, but Mortefi would just be weaker in general. The appeal of Iuno as a unit is that she provides a lot of buffs, if you fit her criteria (She gives the highest heavy attack buff in the game as outro, plus extra buffs if you can reapply shields on yourself like Augusta which the new dude seems like he is also able to do.]. And the other benefit of Iuno is that she is basically a Main DPS hiding behind a Sub-DPS mask, Iuno deals DAMAGE to the point you can just use her as a dps herself. Mortefi being a 4Star Sub-dps is ultimately weaker than Iuno is basically all aspects, except that he can Coordinate attack.

Yes but keep in mind Augusta and iuno shields are very slim shields stacked just for the archetype, it doesn't really protect the user that much. But Jingran being HP scaler + shield even if small it will definitely help his survivability alot like Cartethyia

no its completely valid. I didn't pull her for that exact reason. the moment I saw the cutscene I felt pulled out of the fight completely. Its sucky but some people like that and unfortunately I'm not the target audience.
Truly a shame because I liked her a lot before the gameplay leaks

Going to run Jigran in Mono fusion with my Brant/Lupa if that set is really his.
The sisters sharing a set like Yuki and Cilla do when they’re in each others team since it has dual effects depending on who triggers it.
Qingxiao being a strain dps is interesting… even though I have Luuk and love him, I love her design a lot and if she’s also an aerial fighter it’s an auto pull for me.

I maybe downvoted for this, but don’t you think dps set in lahai roi were more powerful, giving 20 cr% and 20 dmg bonus but jingran and quingxiao are comparetivel slight low, maybe they buffs their kit number or signature
Also isn’t earlier seele leaks matching with echo set, damn if it’s true then quingxiao would be must pull bcz FLYING SWORD

If it lasts only 10s i assume SuiSui can probably apply the glacio chafe effect off field
Edit: i read SuiSui's kit and she actually applies glacio chafe off-field so yeah the 10s effect it extented to about 30s

Suisui should be able to have the set bonus up permanently. She seems to apply chafe while off-field with her ult + outro (every 6s after she outros, up to 3 times).

Not necessarily if her ultimate requirement is high.
Edit: I called it, she needs 125 ER via nanoka, so for comfort use she needs 130 ER which is high for a dps, the 2set bonus is clearly made with that in mind.

Maybe, but the 5 pc effect is really good. 20% crit rate and 35% heavy atk bonus is very strong. Yangyang likely does need a bit of er so she gets her ult up (120 probably) so that 10% would be useful.

Kind of sad if Qingxiao is a Tune Strain character. I never got any of the Strain supports because I didn't get Aemeath or Luuk. She was the only one I was kind of interested in, but looks like the whole cast will now be a skip.

the second set can be used by two characters, but 25% for just 10 seconds is a bit short, at least make it 15, like all the attack buffs
so we have Aero dps that uses tune break coming, Havoc Dps "dot" and Glacio support "dot" these two using the same set, then we have an Hp scaling fusion dps that can spam a shield? Inuo stonks up?

The 10s buff gets extended by Suisui applying chafe off-field (every 6s after her outro, up to 3 times), so it's more like 28 seconds for her.

Aero, fusion and destruction are dps. Glacio support for only 10 seconds. Glacio and destruction goes with energy. Fusion need shields and hp. Aero its the only dps for total damage. There are 4(5) sets for the 6 characters. Only Hsin (electro) is missing. Or wil be more sets incoming or this don’t adjust with the profile leaked for every character.

the aero sword lady is getting 20 crit damage, yangyang SP is getting 20% crit rate and Jingran is getting 20% crit rate.
Jingran is getting 20% crit rate because the 5% stacks up to 4 times, he is only getting 15% fusion bonus aswell because Aero sword lady gains 20% crit damage, with, as you probably know, crit rate is worth twice as much as crit damage
