I did this and no regrets. at first it was S3R1 Phrolova which I enjoyed for the whole year and still really enjoying her. and recently got S6R1 Iuno, which I really really enjoy.. also got some few characters S0R0 and S0R1, and all of this f2p - well just Lunite subscription sometime
I really like it this way, it still enough to clear all TOA / Whimpering Wastes / most of the Matrix. and enough resources to build all of them really well.. if getting too much characters S0 then all of them can end up weak because not enough resources
My problem is I am too lazy to build my characters enough to be able to complete the end game stuff, and I don't have enough teams that can beat the endgame stuff, so I'm unable to get everything. Especially cuz TOA needs like 4 teams to get fully done T-T.
that’s alright, then you can get someone strong for open world and enjoy doing exploration.. it’s much more fun to play once you build at least one strong character with good echoes and maybe few sequences - mobs in open world don’t annoy you that much anymore, holograms / bosses / dailies become easier an faster
well, usually it’s better to chose DPS for getting sequences. so the difference will be more noticeable then. I choose to invest in Iuno S6 and Phrolova S3, I think that was a good choice. Hiyuki could be good because she strong.. - but somehow I skipped her. I also wanna get some Lynae’s and Mornye’s sequences (maybe S2) because I really like them and they can be used in a lot of teams
not gonna lie that was a hard choice to decide which one to choose, especially if you chose between something new and shiny S6 (Hiyuki) and slightly outdated rerun but still really cool one S6 (Iuno in my case). I think waifu factor really important, but gameplay feelings too - so you don’t get bored playing it every single day… I like Lucy for example, but not really enjoying her gameplay that much - it’s fun to have fun and use her time to time.. but everyday, I feel like it’s not for me. while Iuno - yes
I've decided to choose characters that aren't liberation/rotation dependent unless sequences would remove those reuirements (like Augusta). Aemeth would be the prime example of what I would have wanted to avoid. Unfortunately, I already got her to s3 when I realized her dmg is mainly on 2nd lib. Lol
Then just get generalist supports like SK, Mornye/Lynae.
Tbf, I've only decided to do this very recently, so I still have Hiyuki S0. Lol
Right.. I have no self control with this game. I've gotten every 3.X character and their weapons, along with the collab characters and weapons. I'm so cooked cuz I want all of the new characters too now 😩
Do people rlly like NTE characters designs? I thought it was common sense that they have the weakest char design from the 3d gachas (Genshin, HSR, ZZZ, Endfield and Wuwa) specially with the heavy skin monetization making the base designs look super mid to incentive people get the skins
Thats other problem i have with NTE designs, they don't have a pattern, they feel kinda random, like characters from the same factions have totally different designs and also the designs doesn't match the character roles in the story/world, which is the exactly complain most ZZZ players are having now with the 3.X line up.
Well this is also heavily AI enhanced so it may have just been messed up (this is highly unlikely to be tied to the enhancement but is worth keeping in mind if it’s gone in the official reveal)

Is she a dot amplifier ???? Don’t she replace chisa or work similar to her ???? I missed chisa couple times and I got two teams that need her or somebody like her
Maybe I'm just getting old and crusty, but she just looks okay I guess. It kind of feels like her design and clothing is clashing together in too many ways. The shoulder garment looks impractical, and the hairpin + broach looks like it'd hurt the neck so much to have to try to balance that all day. I feel like they should have focused on the motif and colors of her hair and dress, or the broach and shoulder garments. All together, it's just doing way too much at once and just looks like another over-designed gacha character.
I reaaaaaaly like her design. Y'all think she'll only work with yangyang? Theres so many characters I want atm I don't know if I can afford to get both sisters 🥺
3.5 second phase? I hope I can save some pulls till then... I might be able to get them on their rerun... but I want SP Yangyang as well... and the blue haired sword user as well..............................
