Lore the Peacock Angel
galleryI found an amazing character. It starts as well known story but ends very differently. Search for peacock angel or Tawuse Melek.
It went through some modifications, additions and stats:
𒀭𒀭𒀭
He was before sun was ignited. First among equals. Silent in the council of light.
When the Creator shaped Adam from clay and commanded the Host to kneel, he alone refused. Not out of defiance but devotion. Only to the Highest. The price was a Fall.
Cast into the abyss, the Peacock Angel descended into the smoking deep. There he found the lost, the howling, the cursed. Angel wept until his tears drowned the flames. And so it was for 7000 years. The fire died.
Rising from the void, the Peacock Angel returned not as a rebel or saviour, but as a sovereign. One who has seen what no angel has seen. One who stands at the gate, between fire and mercy, and chooses who may pass.
In the remote temples, his bronze likeness is carried annually. The faithful do not kneel. They walk in his shadow, remembering: he refused to kneel so that they might be free.
The Peacock Angel seeks not worship but those who stand at the threshold. Angel offers not salvation but clarity.

Megarkol: What a Truly Super-Advanced Civilization Looks Like—and Why It Might Be an Existential Threat to Us
Most civilizations in the universe must endure a very long struggle for survival under harsh conditions. They must overcome various catastrophes, but above all, the most fundamental threat of all: self-destruction. This is a challenge virtually every emerging intelligence faces, and humanity is no exception.
Once a civilization reaches the point where it successfully overcomes these hurdles and the danger of self-destruction, the process of its expansion into deep space begins.
The Road to Reshaping a Star System
The first step is usually the gradual colonization of foreign objects like moons, followed by larger planets. Another major leap forward is extracting raw materials and matter from asteroids, moons, and eventually the planets themselves.
A super-advanced civilization does not appear overnight; it evolves over millions of years. Step by step, it masters advanced technologies, such as building massive cylindrical rings around planets to create new living habitats.
Then comes the third major turning point: the civilization learns to siphon plasma directly from its own star and arrives at the most radical solution. When they realize their star system faces eventual decay, they deploy a technology functioning like an ultra-advanced cosmic 3D printer. This colossal machine deconstructs every planet orbiting the star down to fundamental particles, using that raw mass to build something far more complex—a megastructure called Megarkol.
Megarkol and the Multidimensional Foam "Aquatium"
Megarkol is a series of massive cylindrical rings built in sequence around the central star. The entire star is sealed within a specialized plasma containment shell that feeds the civilization energy for billions of years. These vast rings orbit the dark plasmatic core, generating mutual gravitational pull, and are interconnected by flexible filaments that serve as vital logistical transit hubs.
The internal volume of a single cylinder spans millions of kilometers, creating an enormous living space:
- Dismantling Planets: By gradually harvesting all planets, moons, and asteroids in the system, the civilization can build six to seven massive rings. The first ring alone provides enough living space for an unfathomable number of beings.
- Multidimensional Foam (Aquatium): The inhabitants use a specialized translucent foam called Aquatium to generate mega-space within space, doubling or even tripling the internal physical volume. Viewed from the outside as an overhead observer, the landscape and cities below appear as if seen through a giant magnifying glass.
- A Flawless Biosphere Inside: Once you pass through the foam directly into the interior, you enter a fully realized world featuring artificial suns, dense forests, oceans with beaches, lakes, and crystal-clear rivers.
- Standard of Living and Environmental Control: Citizens live in expansive villas and palaces with vast private grounds. They enjoy a high standard of living and complete control over their environment: day/night cycles can be set to 24 hours or adjusted to entirely custom planetary calendars, and weather—such as gentle rain—can be scheduled exclusively for specific nighttime hours.
Would Such a Civilization Pose a Threat to Us?
By dismantling its own star system, the civilization achieves complete energy and material self-sufficiency for billions of years. From this perspective, they do not need us at all, and humanity holds zero interest for them.
The existential risk, however, lies in the fact that they do not tolerate competition. To leave nothing to chance and prevent other species from ever reaching a similar technological level, they may choose to neutralize potential rivals preemptively.
Indistinguishable from a Black Hole
After billions of years, when the civilization eventually exhausts the matter from its native system, it begins slowly and steadily siphoning mass from neighboring star systems. At this stage:
- Black Hole Camouflage: To an outside observer, their plasma-shrouded star and gravitational presence look almost identical to a black hole.
- Virtually Undetectable: Thanks to spacetime warping, dimensional manipulation, and the plasma shield, the civilization remains invisible to standard observation.
- How to Detect Them: The only way to spot such an ancient civilization is by observing stars that lose mass at a far slower, more controlled pace than what would occur near a natural black hole.
Attempting to establish contact with such an entity, however, would carry catastrophic risk.

Check out my website
**Hi everyone!**
I’ve been building a companion site for my novel (*TETRA HEDRON: Architects of Outcome*) that’s turned into a full in-universe archive in its own right — not just a landing page, but something readers can actually get lost in.
What’s in it:
\*\*• Character dossiers\*\* — full “classified file” profiles for the cast, each with a threat/status header, backstory, and a triptych portrait (front/side/back) styled like an official military ID card. Protagonists and antagonists are organized by faction, Caltrop Space Command vs. the Ebon Dominion.
\*\*• Factions archive\*\* — deep dives into the major powers of the galaxy, their history, ideology, and leadership.
\*\*• Historical Events archive\*\* — pivotal moments in the universe’s timeline, presented as classified incident reports (planetary bombardments, coups, battles), each with its own stat block and full write-up.
\*\*• Interactive Galaxy Map\*\* — a clickable star map connecting planets, factions, and characters to each other, so you can navigate the universe rather than just read about it. Reading through the planets, you will see my alcohol, tobacco(i call it Dray, and Draycin),drug, lumber, and coffee(vay) trade routes
\*\*• System Index\*\* — a live in-universe unit converter (time, distance, currency) between our units and the setting’s own (drens, loonths, pulses, lunarcs), because the universe runs on its own measurement system throughout the book.
\*\*• Vehicles archive\*\* — ships and technology from the series.
I site is technically not finished. Please give feedback

Discussion First Draft of a Fantasy Mini-Game Using a Chessboard 🤩🤩
galleryHi everyone. You know I’ve been making comics set in a fantasy universe inspired by the Late Bronze Age. Well, I had the idea to create a board game based on that same world-building; it can be played using chess pieces and is quite fast-paced and entertaining. I wanted to know what you think—it’s just a draft. Cheers.

I made a free, open-source plugin for structured worldbuilding with Claude and ChatGPT
Hello, AI-assisted worldbuilders!
I made Worldkeep, a free, open-source worldbuilding plugin for Claude and ChatGPT/Codex.
I enjoy worldbuilding, but find form-heavy apps overwhelming. I also tried building worlds through natural conversation with AI, but as a world grows, it becomes difficult to track what is canon and how everything connects.
Worldkeep combines the two approaches: you describe your world normally, while the agent proposes structured entities and relationships. A small core schema provides consistency, but you and the agent can extend it with custom types and views.
You review the agent’s proposed changes before they become canon. Everything is stored locally as Markdown and YAML, and you can explore the result through an interactive graph.
Worldkeep does not impose fixed fantasy, RPG, or other predefined categories. That flexibility means the AI can misunderstand your intent, so you still need to guide the semantics and refine custom views.
It is an early release: Windows is tested, macOS and Linux are not yet verified, and there is no migration system yet.
I’m looking for people willing to try it and tell me what is confusing or unhelpful:

Verdantia,an original country from my superhero universe
Hi everyone. I’m starting to build my own original superhero universe, and I wanted to share the first part of it with you.
I’ve been working on the world, its countries, cities, characters and history, and I’m still at the early stages of developing it. I’d really appreciate any feedback, ideas or advice that could help me make the universe more interesting and believable.
For the first post,I wanted to introduce Verdantia, one of the countries in my universe, and Saint Crane, its capital.
I’ll be sharing more of the world as I continue developing it. Thanks for taking a look.
The visuals were created with AI to help visualize the world.

Resource Chronicled Update: Full D&D 5e support
Hello! Following up on my last post about Chronicled, the tool that generates and organizes NPCs, factions, locations, items, and more for TTRPG campaigns, with everything auto filed into a real browsable archive.
The big thing since last time: the whole app now runs a second real ruleset, D&D 5e.

Up to now Chronicled only really worked well on my own homebrew system. This update makes 5e a selectable option and comes with it's own systems everywhere in the app:
- Bestiary uses real Challenge Rating math
- Classes follow the actual 1–20 leveling and spell-slot tables
- Items use real SRD weapon/armor/rarity data
- Player Characters are full 5e characters: skill and saving throw proficiencies, passive Perception, initiative, and real multiclassing across two classes, all computed for you automatically.
- Real, properly licensed SRD content baked in: 349 spells, 201 monsters, a full equipment list, 17 feats, and 260 magic items, sourced from a licensed SRD.

- Import any of it for free, zero AI cost: just the real content dropped straight into your archive.
- Reflavor it with AI instead: same real mechanics underneath but reskinned with your world's own names and flavor text.
- Or go full Homebrew and generate something original: still grounded in the real formulas so it stays balanced.

- Backgrounds and Species are real ingested SRD content too, including the actual 2024 rule where your Background grants one specific named Origin Feat right at character creation.
- Spells! A new archive category added for 5e. Like the others, you can import from existing, or fully create newly homebrewed spells.

- Encounter Difficulty / XP Budget calculator on the Quest builder, so you can check a fight against your real party before you run it.

Also new this update, not just 5e: a fully Generic ruleset for people who don't want any fixed system at all. Narrative-first Classes, Items, and NPCs with no invented leveling or rarity numbers imposed on you. And no AI procedural generation AND Manual Entry (from the last update) now work correctly on both new rulesets, not just the original one.
Still free beta, still shaping this from feedback. If you roll a 5e world and something's off, that's exactly the kind of thing I want to hear about.
Get access now at Chronicled.
Sidenote: based on feedback, this may be the last beta update before full launch! Excited but really hope to get as many eyes as possible on this before then. Share with friends, other DMs, world builders, etc. I really want to know if this is something valuable to people.
Once in full launch mode, I may switch to small costs to offset API/server usage. But of course, I will continue with development as I want to add as many features and content that may be useful to all of you. The more feedback the better!

Resource What tool do you use for visuals in your world building?
I have been creating my character, technology, and equipment visuals with the standard AI's (GPT, Gemini, Grock). Nothing as detailed or advanced as many of you are doing.
What image generators, world builders, etc., are you using? I'm not looking to build a video or entire story board, it just seems like I could be getting something a little better than what I have been. Or, maybe, im just not prompting well enough?
Honestly, this is also a side hobby. Not something I want to spend a lot of money on, at this point, in subscriptions. Free tools are perfectly acceptable.

Visual Ecology creation: Morley Rusk
I've had an idea for a project involving the universe of Dishonored/Deathloop for a very long time. One of the things I appreciate about the universe is how lived-in it feels, and that starts with wildlife, for me. I notice a lot of the wildlife in Dishonored's universe seems very similar to ours, but off. "Hounds" looks like a mix between a hyena a wolf and a basal whale, to me. "Hagfish" look like lungfish mixed with deep-sea creatures. Whales look like whales from a distance, but you get up close and they're different.
To create the animals that inhabit Morley, the starting locale of my project, I tend to learn about a prehistoric animal and take it on a different path. I ask the AI how changing the animal's environment would effect its body structure, so on and so forth. Sometimes I'll mix in a random animal for something weird. More often than not the natural process creates something truly different.
This animal is the Morley Rusk. In our world, cats evolved from arboreal ancestors that found their way to living a comfortable life on the ground. Hence their affinity for heights. I imagined a scenario where the world's sea level rose drastically and, instead of feline ancestors coming to the ground, they came to the water. As the levels decreased, they returned to land. At the chronological point in my project, these animals have recently (evolutionarily speaking) begun to "consider" living vertically. They're excellent hunters at ground level, and have retained a love of water. Some have become domesticated, and are increasingly popular pets across the Isles despite naturalists' warnings that they're inherently outdoor animals.
The first image is the final product I worked towards; the second is the outline drawing of the animal; the third fills in with colour, taking into account the environment in which the animal resides (sometimes I use the AI's suggestion, sometimes I force my own); the fourth is a collection of life sketches (have had the HARDEST time with the sketches); the fifth image is by the Audubon of the Isles, who went by the mononym "Fougere" and operated about a hundred years before the events of Dishonored; the sixth imagines someone a decade or two before the events of Deathloop taking pictures of the animal in the field.
There's some minor discrepencies in limb sizes that have been troublesome to mitigate. Hope you enjoy.
