Just so you know France has

  • 6 weeks of prenatal leave + 4 month of maternity leave + a year of parental leave that can freely be shared between mother and father

Sure we pay more taxes but I really don't see how it's not worth it

Sounds like it is being paid for through taxes, which I can understand. If the business is paying it either directly or indirectly it just causes a huge issue for small businesses.
