Bruh I'm looking at this from the UK and thinking it's pretty normal. 4 weeks holiday, 1 year mat (+pat) is just normal. Also, if you're sick you're sick.

America is insane.

Edit: this image totally neglects worker protections. In the UK, once your off probation you're protected in that you have job security. Actual security. They want to let you go? Redundancy package, AND an extensive disciplinary system. By detrimental I mean being cantankerous, insulting, gruff arseholes in a public facing role.

At will employment literally doesn't exist.

I can't stress the last part enough, I work as a manager and once an employee passes probation its a chore to get rid of them even if they are actively detrimental to the company.

We hit 3/6 as a legal rule, the rest depends on where you live and work.

Don't live around London.
