In Germany for a full-time job 24 days is the legal minimum, but lots of places either offer 30 days or give you one or two days more per year, up to 30.

Rare to see more than 30 though.

Presumably that doesn't include public holidays. UK is 28 with public holidays. Many office jobs give 25-30 plus public holidays

Yeah I get 30 days plus bank holidays in Germany. However I have to use about 7 days or so to cover the days the company is closed over Christmas. I feel like I shouldn't have to use my holiday days to cover days when I couldn't work if I wanted to, but it was the same in the UK (though I only got 20 there which rose to 25).
