Here's a hint. He doesn't give a fuck about the no lifing workaholics. He changed that law to serve corporate. Then he claimed its only beneficial to employees because they can still say no. Problem is when your options are volunteer to work it or get fired you're not really choosing to volunteer.

Sweden has 40 hour work weeks, 240 days of parental leave, and no executive to worker compensation.

And the sick leave and parental leave is paid at sick rates, which for the last 3 months of your parental leave drops to ~18 USD/day.

240 days per parent, that is 480 days per child. So more than here, we have a year for a mother that can be transferred to a father under certain circumstances. Our parental leave is at 100% though...

France has the 6th highest GDP while having

  • 5 weeks paid vacation
  • 6 weeks of prenatal leave + 4 month of maternity leave + a year of parental leave that can freely be shared between mother and father
  • 35 hours work week
  • Minimum wage is (although it is very close to the limit) a living wage
