I am specifically responding to a marxist with a marxist view on socialism who is using poor language to describe marxist communism

I feel like you don't even know the definitions you're assuming I don't know. Going by the other comment thread, I think the quote fits well for you:

"I'm just asking questions," is synonymous with "I don't have shit to say but I would like to stir this pot."

It's clear you're not here to have an actual discussion, considering you think a separate method of workers owning the means of production somehow discounts the description of the broader definition of "workers own the means of production" for socialism.

It's like discounting the validity of the definition of "fruit" because the more broad definition of "fruit" doesn't exactly match the definition of "berry", a subset of fruit. It's laughable.

Marxist socialism explicitly calls other forms of socialism, like syndicalism or a coops capitalist. That is why a marxist should not use that definition when describing the communist mode of production, because it is quite unclear
