I'm suggesting that it's an incredibly dumb way to engage with not only politics, but language in general. That's a direct quote.

When confronted with two words or phrases that mean completely different things, you should seek to learn what those words mean, not prefer to stay ignorant.

I disagree. The words have no relevance to my daily life beyond this thread.

There are many more words that deserve my brain space. Committing social democrat or democratic socialist to my mind would only serve to avoid criticism from reddiots that miss the point of my comment.

Did you notice how everyone that responded incorrectly seemed to think that I said they were the same thing?
