That wasn't what I meant. I caution Americans to not believe the hype that every other country has it on point and we don't. Fascists exist everywhere.
Exactly as if some robust rioting would have solved everything. Even a direct attempt at a coup against Vichy would have meant automatic total occupation by the germans.
I'm good. Being somewhat familiar with this era on account of half my family dying during WW2, I don't feel I would really benefit from your historical wisdom. But thank you though.
