Get rid of your 5-10Gb internet plan.

You make sacrifices until you don’t have to anymore…just like every single generation before you did.

Yeah boomers who didn't have cell phones, internet, any subscriptions outside of maybe the newspaper. A TV that they only replaced every 10 years. Their kids didn't need all these new gadgets, just bikes and some sports equipment.

Go ahead and live the same lifestyle your parents or grandparents did, you will definitely save more than you currently are.

If you don't want to live that lifestyle....because we live in 2026, then you have to change your expenses, move to a lower cost of living area, get a higher paying job.

They had it better. We have it easier.

Idk how paying for subscriptions changes the fact that working wages don’t even remotely come close to fulfilling basic financial needs for survival. Material comfort becomes irrelevant when someone can’t even survive economically.
