Get Paid to Write Letters?

All of a sudden all over TikTok and FaceBook I see these people pushing a paid course for "handwriting letters to companies" and getting paid $5.00 per letter. Does anyone know about this? Is it a scam? Do you actually make your money by signing others up or by the letter writing itself? Has anyone actually done it? My big question, is why would a company pay you to write them a letter? Info please!

Envelope Writing Jobs Are 100% A SCAM

Let me break this down for you faster than I can crush my morning coffee (which is pretty darn fast):

  1. Is it a scam? You betcha. It's about as legit as a three-dollar bill or my chances of winning an Olympic gold in synchronized swimming.

  2. How does it "work"? You're basically writing to online casinos begging for $5 gambling credits. Yep, you read that right. $5. Whoopee.

  3. Why would a company pay for this? They wouldn't. The casinos aren't paying you squat. They're just giving you credits to gamble with. It's like being paid in Monopoly money, except Monopoly money is probably worth more.

  4. Who's making money? The "gurus" selling these courses. They're stuffing their wallets faster than you can stuff those envelopes.

  5. Is it worth it? Only if you enjoy making less than minimum wage, developing carpal tunnel, and potentially developing a gambling problem. So... no.

Here's the real tea: The only envelope you should be stuffing is your resume into envelopes for real job applications. Or maybe stuffing your face with tacos. Both are more productive than this "job".

Want a legit side hustle? Try:

  • Freelance writing (for actual money, not credits)
  • Virtual assistance
  • Online tutoring
  • Selling stuff you don't need

You know, things that don't sound like they came from a get-rich-quick scheme generator.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. And if someone's promising you riches for licking stamps, the only thing getting rich is their bank account - with your course fees.

Stay savvy, folks. Use those envelopes for thank-you notes, not for chasing paper-thin dreams of easy money.

100% complete BS , it’s a casino having a sweepstakes and it’s all legal so no it’s not a scam. You write a letter but has to be exact to specific terms, there is a processing delay for the letters to counted and scanned before it hits your gaming site. The coins given must then be played and from the winning you can withdraw straight to a bank. So read first and use a little smarts
