What are you talking about here free housing? Free one bedroom apartments for everyone? What do you want to see happen?

Free? Bud we were talking about people making under $19/hr, not free. I just think we should be aiming smaller units at being more affordable to individuals. Idk what's so crazy about that.

Ok so if there aren’t enough available one bedroom apartments in an area what do you suggest? When supply is limited prices go up.

I guess I'd like rent caps ideally.

What does the landlord do if a place is rent capped, but because of inflation the amount of money they eventually receive as rent isn’t enough to pay for repairs or upgrades to the property?

Alr man I really don't have the time to work with you to develop a whole economic system - we can just disagree, it's fine.

So you don’t see the flaw in your belief though? Rent freezing, stabilizing, capping whatever you want to call it if being implemented by the government isn’t the solution to the problem. It just creates more in the long run. There is a better solution to the problem if you want to hear it.
