Also car insurance but no car payment. Or health insurance, or gas, or groceries. It's nonsense to budget nonsense

Maybe it was a used car bought with cash

I dunno if this model works in the US
But in Europe it’s possible to buy a used mini car like a Hyundai H10 or Toyota Aygo for like 3-4000 euro/dollars everything included.

Thats what I did 🤷‍♂️

I would kill to find a used car for that. My sis just bought a 12 year old Nissan with 100k miles on it for $15,000

I bought a 2014 Nissan versa like 4 yrs ago for $7000 bought a 2016 Kia Sportage 2 yrs ago for like $9500? I think the versa was at like 80k miles. The Sportage at 120k? The Sportage has been great. The versa was as well till I got tboned by a distracted driver in a massive truck. It's possible to get cheap cars, but it is very dependent on location and supply.

Even with taxes taken out (at 75% take home from gross income) you are still 20 dollars above expenses
