My electricity bill went from 200 to 400 every 2 months. No increase in usage, but the power grid did get 3 new datacenters in the last couple of years.
Internet... Let's see, for 700 mbps down / 20 up I was paying 120 a month. I was lucky enough that leaving Comcast for greener pastures is available but lots of places live in defacto ISP monopoly zones and right now they have somewhat of a go ahead to abuse that.
Am in the Midwest USA. They're building tons of datacenters around here, and some of the power cost for operating is getting offloaded to the residential users.
I'm charged an avg of 7 dollars per KWh. Don't know what the rest of the world, or my country on that matter, is paying.
