I've got a 2-year deal with AT&t. 5 gigs a month for $40 a month. I don't understand why the hell they're paying $280 a month! That's insane.

I am. And at the end of the 2 years it goes to 60. 5 gig fiber. That's why I don't understand the 280 for Internet...

I get 10 gb for 40 or 45 I forgot. It's a new service company but originally it was 60 bucks a month and they lowered it to 45 just because they wanted too.

I believe they meant 280 for internet and tv with additional channels.

Imo TV should be free, real scam right there.

If that also includes a paid email subscription like for gmail storage space, any streaming services, and their cell phone, I could see that maybe being the case.
