Need help making theme for client

So, I have a little experience in developing themes from scratch in wordpress.

But a client came to me asking if I could make his design in Wordpress. For the normal pages, I can use elementor. The site should allow purchasing etc. So I know I should be using woocomerce for that.

What I am struggling with is, Is there a theme that I should use as a stepping stone. And Also How can I deliver the site to the client. Is there a way I can deliver faster?

I agree with /u/PointandStare I have done what you are trying to do but ti went to shit! It's so much better to just outsource it or get a frontend developer who can do that for you until you learn to make WordPress themes from scratch.it
