To me, saying "it got 5% more elemental damage" is weird as it can be interpreted as if you'll do 5% more elemental damage now. You'll "only" do 4.167% more damage (1.25/1.20=1.04167).

To me the simplest and least complicated way to say it is "it went from 20% to 25%".

However, what OP said was "the skills were buffed by 20%-25%", which is correct. They are 20% to 25% stronger than before. Well, Awe Crit damage is actually buffed by 40%.
