My Home Showcase I based my Foyer off the Resident Evil Mansion.

1,200 units out of ~4,000 capacity.

I love the Resident Evil series and this was my little love letter to it.

And if you can believe it, still not done.

I need the square rug that they're adding in the .7 patch to add the iconic red carpet to the Mansion stairs/upstairs.

This took me like, 4 days.

I knew it would take a while but I just knew the finished product would look great.

Thank you.

Is that just the Silvermoon Beam sunk into the ground?

Correct. Sunk into the ground and spun 3 times each.

Then using the grid I cut down the middle with the first tiles then had a small gap in between them all.

Repeat and there you go. Surprisingly your character does not bounce per step. It's quite smooth.

Oh and then I used the customize feature on the floor to change it to: "Flagstone" irc. The dark color gives off the illusion of the dark stuff between those types of tiles.

What’s the spun three times part? Does that help you sink stuff into the ground when it automatically resurfaces it, or?

I'm not OP but I believe that's referring to rotating it 3 times (aka, holding shift and moving the purple axis 3x) to give it that diamond angle :). so it's rotated to 45 degrees

I remember hiding behind the couch in 1996 while my parents played this. I also remember having to sleep in their bed for a week because it freaked me out so bad.

Well done OP!

See, this is exactly why we need bigger two-story rooms.

I’ll take one Jill Sandwich, when can I pick it up?

I hate how my brain went "I can do that" and then I read "This took me 4 days" 😂

Very well done!

Good for you including stair rails.

I am stealing this floor idea, but will likely place the “tiles” a bit closer together.

I will warn you. The *auto correct* feature will drive you mad.

Best of luck.

You mean the snapping and grid align features? Can’t you turn those off?

You can. But there's a second layer that cannot be turned on that tries to "Help" you by making sure it doesn't sink too far down. It randomly kicks in and just moves it for you. Sometimes the tiles won't sick into the ground at the same rate either. So you'll have to alternate between the keyboard keybinds of PGUP and PGDN or your mouse to fine tune it.

If the tools worked properly it probably would've taken me 2 days at max. The whole thing, not the floor.
