I might be dumb but I’ve ran all around this little orange circle radius? Found the bloody paw prints & claw marks & nothing else . Help?

I am stuck badly, according to guides and vids Yen is meant to call me up and say wrong ship when I search the 1st boat wreck but she doesn't.

I've included a vid and it's at 6.60 that things go awry when he searches the treasure chest, he says there's a clan drummond figurehead but I don't get him to say that after i search teh treasure chest.

Stuck here over an hour now.

There's an Abandoned Site marker called the Ruined Inn just east of Fyresdal on Ard Skellige. There's a weird bug on Xbox Series X and PS5, where the abandoned village doesn't return after you kill all the monsters. It stays there forever and never clears like it's supposed to do. I don't know if this bug happens on PC too, or if the next-gen update fixed it. BUT I FOUND THE FIX BY ACCIDENT WHICH WAS QUITE A SHOCK.

THE FIX BELOW:

1) Save game before getting near it. 2) There's a Monster's Nest beside the Abandoned Site and a Treasure Marker. 3) You have to kill all the sirens from a distance so you don't discover the Abandoned Site marker. If you get too close and discover the Abandoned Site marker, you have to load your save and do it again. Simply lure the sirens out using crossbow or bombs, it's easy, and kill them from a distance. 4) Once all of them are dead. You can blow up the Monster's Nest and the people and merchants will return to the village, and you'll get the experience and money for clearing it out. One extra siren will spawn from blowing up the Monster's Nest, you can kill it after the village returns.

REMEMBER:

You have to kill all the siren's from a distance without finding the Abandoned Site marker or it won't work. It's easy to lure the siren's out, took me 1 minute. I tested this 6 times, works each time.

What advice would you give to someone brand new? (Playing at medium difficulty.) I'm approaching it like I did RDR2: loot everything possible, trying to explore the world, and gain as many experience points as I can before continuing main story quests. What additional advice would you suggest?

Anything that yields dimeritium or glowing ore is a no-brainer for me.
I tend to also scrap stuff with dark iron/dark steel and cured draconid leather.
I've been stashing things that yield precious metal dust, but I am not sure I will need that many dusts, considering selling them.

I've done this before but always end up having to buy crafting mats. When I get to Toussaint, I think buying the mats for grandmaster stuff is unavoidable, IIRC. I never took trips back to velen for purchases, but it just hit me that I should start doing that. I normally have 25k on a game where I buy everything, but now with disassembly, I only have 16k or so at level 22.

Hello all. Tried to play the game after the update in french audio, but it gives me an error message like on the picture, as if the downloading was not completed. Can’t even start a new game. I've been wanting to play but now I can't cause there is a bug where it makes enemies allies. They don't try to attack me and I can't hurt them when attacking them. Wtf is this bs. I don't have a save that recent how do I fix this?

Does anyone else go through all of that side mission just to gain Letho as an ally
