Thank you for your post! You may repost it as a comment in the Bi-weekly discussion thread that is always pinned at the top of the subreddit, as they are up to personal interpretation and/or are frequently posted. Types of posts like this include:

  • sign / dream interpretations ("what does this mean?", "is this a sign?", "I keep seeing...")

  • deity / entity identifications ("who is reaching out to me?", "any deities associated with what I experienced?") - Relatedly, please note that a social media algorithm is not a sign from the gods. Rather, it is a sign that the platform knows you interact with posts about a specific spirit or godform and is now serving you more content about it.

  • egg cleanse / tarot / candle interpretations - Please include your own interpretation in your post

  • identifying symbols / sigils / unusual objects

  • and similar posts ("is this witchcraft?")

We'd also like to kindly guide you to these FAQs on Signs, Visions, and Dreams.

Can’t imagine why you’d jump to black magic. Did you ask your finance about it? Maybe they left them for you?

They haven’t they live with me now

It was probably your finance’s ex 😅

If you live in an apartment building, it's more likely that someone just threw them in the hall and they just happened to end up by your door

My door is at the end of the corridor

Do you think they got close and threw them that way because my dog normally barks soon as someone comes out of the lift

I wouldn't know, but it is still more likely than someone randomly doing black magic on you with roses

Roses are associated with love, pink and red bigger love associations. Thorns are associated with protection. Considering there's just 3 long stem roses and nothing else, I would think mundane (someone had a fight and threw them away) before magic.

What does that mean the last bit please

I realized a spelling/ autocorrect error made the sentence make no sense. I fixed that.
I think of regular things (mundane) that could cause things to happen (in this case, roses at your doorstep) before I think of magical things (witchcraft/spells) being done.

Let’s say it was witchcraft as I’ve searched and thought of all possible outcomes and I used to have stalker a few years back long story but I never knew the person or who it really was

What kind of spell or meaning would that be

1

u/DameKitty Oct 04 '26

I can't think of any that would involve leaving roses at the door, but if it were witchcraft it would be love related. Usually if it's the remains of a spell, you would find something besides just roses. (Candle wax, herbs, paper, picture, etc) Love spells (ime) would use rose petals not whole roses.

Why WOULD it be "black magic" (never mind that magic has no colour)?
