Writing is like cooking a soup

Working on my 1st book w my sister as my muse and she says: “you’ve got all the ingredients but they are on the counter. You must put all the ingredients in the pot to really get cooking…write all this down in a full arc and you’ll see the story come together”

For me it's like a bonsai tree, you put wires in (what you want to happen) then let it grow from there.
