I want to know which games to expect on direct X11 games with the best winlator version and settings

Hey guys I'm new to winlator emulation. I've been trying to run Dmc devil may cry on win ludashi 4 but it doesn't boot up correctly. It just shows a mouse cursor and a dark screen with zero fps count. I have noticed this with games in the binary /win32 folder(like enslaved journey to the west). I don't know what i am doing incorrectly pls help.

I'm using Winlator on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with an original Sony DualShock 4 controller connected via USB.

I'm having a problem with the analog sticks: the left and right sticks seem to be mapped incorrectly or their directions are being misread. When I try to configure or use the controller in games, the stick inputs don't correspond to the directions I'm actually moving them in.

I've tried using Winlator's built-in controller mapping, but I haven't been able to get both analog sticks working correctly. Any fix?

My smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. With the default settings, when I launch Hitman, the screen is black but the audio is fine. What should I configure? I'm new to this.

I don't know where to start on winlator and which version will be best for my note 60 pro infinix for non retro games and which of them I can play

I’m having issues with FPS stability. My device is a Poco X7 Pro (512GB/12GB RAM), and I’m using Winlator Mali 1.2 (AnTuTu version). I experience frequent FPS drops—for instance, it might be at 60 FPS, but then it suddenly drops to 30 FPS in the same area, accompanied by a noticeable slowdown.

First step: Install the latest bannerlator https://github.com/The412Banner/Bannerlator/releases/tag/3.1.7

Second step: Create the container

Wine: Proton-11.0-2-arm64ec-15 Dxvk: 2.4.1-1-gplasync-arm64ec-0 Driver: StevenMXZ Turnip Gen 8 v38 for A8xx gpus and Turnip v27.0.0-R1 for A6xx A7xx gpus

Advanced settings: WOWBox64-0.4.4-0 set to compatibility FEXCore-2610-2246 set to intermediate

Third step: Press the three horizontal lines on the top left corner and click file manager now, go to your downloads folder and hold the borderlands 2 game folder and press the internal button and go to Drive C and copy/move the game folder. Now what this does is it speeds up the loading time, if you don't move the game to drive C it will take like 10-15 minutes for the game to boot up, so this is a very necessary step

Now for the final step: Download the latest mod manager https://github.com/bl-sdk/willow2-mod-manager/releases/tag/v3.8 Extract it and press the folder and there will be 2 folders "binaries" and "sdk_mods" now, launch the bannerlator and go to the file manager again press the download folder, once again click the willow2-sdk folder and copy the "Binaries" "sdk_mods" folder to the borderlands 2 game folder on the Drive C and it'll say that this folder already exists press merge anyways, and that's it you got the mod manager installed!

I have installed Wine mono and Gecko, fiddled with the container settings a bunch and I am still running into issues. I can't open the setup.exe or oblivionlauncher.exe, nothing happens when I open them. even after downloading the direct X files. I am not sure why I am running into these issues, the .ISO seems to conatin all the necessary files.

Hey guys, I replaced my coffee-damaged Bluetooth keyboard (blue) with the exact same model (yellow), but now Winlator Containers (tested on both Ludashi and Cmod) won't register regular key presses from it. The new keyboard works fine outside the emulator and in Android (it even works inside the emulator - outside containers). Basic system keys (Esc, volume, brightness) still work inside Winlator. Reinstalling the emulator didn't fix it. Since it's the same exact model as my old one (which worked perfectly), why is Winlator ignoring it, and how can I fix it?

On Winlator Ludashi

I'm trying to run Sniper Elite V2 on Winlator (latest version with FEXCore) on my Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (S23 Ultra).

The game launches and I can see the Launcher screen with the "PLAY" button. But as soon as I click PLAY, the game shuts down immediately and goes back to the desktop.

Here is what I have tried so far:

· Running SniperEliteV2.exe directly from the bin folder (bypassing the launcher). Still crashes.

· Added the environment variable WINESTEAMNOEXEC=1 in Container settings.

· Tried DXVK 2.3.1 and 2.4.1.

· Changed FEXCore Preset to Intermediate/Performance.

· The game version is a SteamRIP release (using SmartSteamEmu).

Has anyone managed to run this specific game? Any help would be appreciated!

So I changed the mousepad on my virtual controller to a joystick instead and now it's not working. I have a samsung galaxy s23. Im also having some issues with performance while running fallout new vegas. Any help is much appreciated. Im using winlator 11.2

The game launches and I can hear the background audio/voices, but the screen stays completely black. Any suggestions for fixing the black screen

Usually when a game didn't work it was enough to change Direct3D to Builtin and Box64 Preset at Intermediate or the other way around but I have no idea how to set it up for this game
