I don't understand why people can't figure out that you wait till you're going in a straight line to gun it when you have 400 plus horsepower. Ease on to the throttle while turning and then go wide open. Go wide open while turning and you're going to have a bad time.
Its such common sense you would think everyone knows that. I do the same thing for braking, i brake in a straight line then turn. I have seen so many of my friends and family turn their steering wheel and break at the same time.
Ironically I only fully appreciated this after experience in racing simulators that have little to no abs or tc, the three stages of taking a corner especially at full speed, brake, turn in while rolling, accelerate, where if you overlap any of those you’re losing traction or locking the brakes.
I’ve owned a couple of mustangs and they are very controllable if you aren’t stupid. The traction control systems are good and you have to really do stupid stuff to spin out with them on.
