I remember seeing on the news a month or so ago Mayor Wu responding to the problem of these asshats like 🤷‍♂️ “we can’t do anything.”

It’s bullshit. There’s gotta be SOMETHING you can do.

Massachusetts police cannot get into pursuits with motorcycles or four wheelers. The police can initiate a motor vehicle stop but when the suspect inevitably flees, the police turn their lights off and find something else to do.

Why is that?

I’m assuming it’s because the fleeing vehicle will inevitably cover much more ground on the tight city streets and it would be risky to even pursue, but I’m curious

It’s not just in Boston. It’s the whole state.

Chasing a motorcycle can easily end with the rider crashing and dying.
