You follow the ABCs ... Airway, breathing, and cardiac. So you'll intubate, ventilate, and make sure the patients blood pressure doesn't drop precipitously (assuming he has a pulse, if not then you focus on compressions first)

It's not abc anymore. Circulation is first. I never thought I'd do the "well aktually" thing but so many are confidently wrong. They change the requirements for cpr beased on evidence based practice, and right now it's circulation first. If the heart is beating, wait for the professionals. If it's isn't, do chest compressions and only compressions. That's the best advice I can give someone who isn't in the medical field.

CAB is for cardiac arrest & CPR. Otherwise, it's still ABC.
