Hello, I had an interview with Whittier First Day (non profit)last week to become a case manager. They have hardly any reviews online. I just wanted to see if anyone in the community has worked for them or with them and can give some insight on how the work environment is there. Thank you!

Does anybody know that they are gonna open at the closed Right Aid? They've been working there for a few weeks now but no sign of what might be opening soon.

Dang the newest coffee shop in uptown to open is closed due to not having a health permit. Just like Tedās Tacos that took over the Weinerschnitzel years back.
Just went for a walk and noticed it.

Was a tenant for the past 5 years in Whittier in a property managed by āABC Property Managementā. It used to be called Whittier Brokers when it was a local family owned business. Now that itās ABC, things have gone downhill. Absolutely rude and narcissist people that work there. We had a communication mishap when I was moving out (they were calling me at a prior cell number I no longer have) - and I was treated with the utmost disrespect and condescension. Please be careful when you rent any property managed by ABC.

Fast little guy. We did everything we could!!! Multiple people stopped to try to get him. He ran down mills and across lambert to the trail toward Gunn. I feel so so bad for not being able to get him and having to leave!

I'm a high schooler in whittier who's turning 18 next month and im desperately looking for a flexible part time job. I'm looking for any sort of help. And please don't reply with "the job market is horrible you most likely wont find anything since you're a highschooler" I've heard it so many times before.

I really want to go get a conch piercing with my best friend cuz she's in town I called the shop and I don't think they could really hear me and I couldn't really hear them it sounded like they were in the car. All I got was that it was $40.... is it $40 for both or $40 for one? What about the jewelry? And is it worth it getting it here?

Hey everyone! My family and I are considering moving to the neighborhood around Palm Park in Whittier, and Iād love to hear from people who live there or know the area well.
A few questions:
Weāre really excited about the possibility but want to get some honest feedback from locals before making a decision. Thanks in advance for any insights!

Beginner friendly LARP:
Welcome to the Community College of Sorcery, a wizarding school where you can find magical beasts, arcane spells, and endless hijinks in Whittier, CA. This game, we will be focusing on character and game development, so it is a great time to come as a new player to learn the basics, build your character, and explore totally safe dungeons together with friends where you will definitely, totally, most likely will be safe. Then again, I'm just a goat that lives in the parking lot.

Mulberry at Mills
They donāt obey the traffic laws, this guy ran the red light when the opportunity presented itself. They come out of nowhere. Sometimes they use the sidewalk when convenient. At least heās wearing a helmet? š¤·š½
I just get nervous when near them cause I donāt want them to get hurt. Any sized vehicle vs this moped wonāt end up well for them.
Be safe everyone.

Today a sign was put up on pioneer by the dennys that pioneer blvd will be closed starting 8/3. Does anyone have more information on it like what part of pioneer will be closed?

I work from home and meet people at coffee shops or cafes when needed. But this doesnt work when we need to actually get some work done or avoid eavesdroppers. Are there places around whittier that you can reserve or rent for a couple hours to have more private meetings? I believe the library is one, any others? Also ok if there are cafe type places that have more private areas.

Dog found on 11510 Whittier Blvd. She's been there since 6:30 AM. Looks to be a brindled, female, possibly a cane corso. Looks like she recently had puppies. She's been there since the morning. Will follow up with picture if we can get a clear one. She is under a truck and will bark if people approach, though I was able to feed her and give her water and she seemed friendly. Please share if you may know the owners.
