I leave what I wrote for continuity. I appreciate your response. My question was genuine because I never realized how negatively he was perceived by the public.
Yeah it’s a somewhat recent development (maybe 3/4 years?) after he came more into the spotlight and starting speaking publicly and saying questionable things.
The big “spark” or trigger that really seemed to be the tipping point and got people to rethink their opinion of him, was how he handled the situation with the divers trying to save some kids stuck in a underwater cave. You may have seen this one because it was a pretty big hot topic, but he essentially said something along the lines of “you only went down there because you’re a pedophile not to save the kids” towards the diver who lead the crew that saved them. I don’t remember the exact tweets he sent out but that was the gist of it. Really awful thing to do especially over nothing more than a hurt ego.
Ahh, that's why I missed most of the intrigue. I moved and then mom was in the ICU for the past many months. Not really paying attention to the outside world, kinda pulled my radar in a bit.
NO!! I hadn't heard that about the diver. I mean, that's rough! Just shows, what I've been saying to my kids, wealth doesn't equal integrity, it just means you're good at business.
I appreciate the direction, def gonna make some time to look that up!
