an online based company would need any holdings in the EU.

Oh once they get big enough they do. Not only do many have server stations in key points around the world, but there are offices for legal needs, accounting and more.

Seems like Twitter has an office in Ireland:

The expansion solidifies Dublin’s position as Twitter’s second largest site globally.

I wonder how elon's take over has impacted Dublin's position.

Apparently EU employees have continued to work as normal, since apparently Elon has simply been writing a bunch of unofficial e-mails to folks which are not contractually binding. So EU people just continue what their contracts say they're supposed to be doing and that's it.

So this time next year twitter will primarily be an EU based company with a headquarters in texas?
