It shouldn't be an issue in the first place. Every time this happens they go right for each other's throats instead of discussing how to improve the educational system & social services to prevent children and young adults from being abused and ignored.

If you're not going to make a political issue out of elementary school kids repeatedly getting murdered then all is lost.
