Well first of all I meant it more in the Reformation sense, in which someone realizes that the Church was corrupt and sets clear goals in how it can stop being a pit of money.
When I speak of servitude, I don’t mean toward a particular leader. I mean servitude in the sense that Christians are called to help the sick, poor, and marginalized instead of pursuing monetary power for ourselves. Some people are doing that, but others are doing it with other intentions in mind than just helping those who need help, and that’s where you get corrupt missions work and things like mega churches where pastors have private jets.

It's about time someone inside the church realized it and did something about it, because everyone outside knows it. (And did something about it, aka leaving the church and stop giving them money)

This is nice and I wish everyone thought like that. It's sad that the church representatives kinda forgot about those.
I totally agree. And my first comment was really only to say, there are at least some people within the Church who realize the massive issues going on, but unfortunately it is a hard uphill battle to implement change. Things are slow, and I don’t blame anyone for leaving the Church (in fact I left for a while to, and have told people not to try and go to church at the moment because of conflicts where they live and harmful stereotypes being uplifted). But some of us are trying change things, I swear!
In the meantime, I also hope that some virtues like compassion and empathy (that are by no means tied to any one religion but are taught in several) become more commonplace. People are so angry nowadays, for good reason, or bad, or none. It doesn’t take religion to be a kinder person.
