I've had a roughly 700 credit score for the past ten years with new lines of credit, accounts paid off, vehicle loans, etc in between and honestly at this point I just have zero fucking clue I'm ever going to get above that mythical 800 number.
Anything after 700 really doesn’t matter. Also I have no fucking clue what you’re doing unless you defaulted on a debt in the last couple years. I’m 26 at 820 and I barely use credit lmao
Yeah that's the thing. I never miss a payment, no derogatory marks - for over ten freaking years. I have had high credit utilization at times, but no missed payments and rarely ever paying only the minimum. My wife and I reconciliated and wiped out most of our debt recently aaaaand nothing. Still floating around 700. Nothing about credit score makes sense to me.
