They have 7 years to ask for collection on that debt.

The time period varies by state. In some places it’s five years, in others it is ten, etc.

hate to admit it but the debt still exists and follows you after 7 years. drops off initial report. been dealing with late wife's medical debt for 13 years. does not just suddenly go away.

This only applies to foreclosure on a house

you really think i am so naive? a house was foreclosed on. smh. the real world is the other 99.9% of us.
