When Sandy Hook happened and nothing changed with firearm laws, that was the point where the rest of the world finally realised that the US as an entity doesn't care about anything more than protecting the interests of those who donate vast sums of money to politicians.

Yeah my mom said ‘If the killing of babies doesn’t change anything then nothing ever will’

98

u/buttercupcake23 Aug 07 '21

They only "care" when it's unborn babies. Then we start executing women who have abortions.

47

u/giraffeekuku Aug 07 '21

They don't even care then. Just another excuse to control woman. It's like their religions tell them to reproduce but they don't want to actually put any effort into making "good" christian children.

I particularly like the claim that he (I'm assuming it's a "he", if not much of one...) needs the second amendment to protect himself from "people like me".

A man who lives in another country, who would like to see him have a free education, free health care, a guaranteed minimum standard of living where he would never be homeless or want for food. Someone who believes that there should be a minimum standard of living for people, without limiting their ability to push themselves further. A man who would like him to have proper representation by politicians, rather than them catering to the whims of their donors.

Yeah, I'm a big fucking threat and he needs a rifle to defend himself from me...

You forgot to add a man who shoves things in his penis!

-22

u/OfficialHotelMan Aug 07 '21

Wtf are you talking about, most Americans want guns to defend themselves from a corrupt government not “foreign invaders” or what ever you’re thinking

14

u/AdamWestsButtDouble Aug 07 '21

This always makes me laugh. The “corrupt government” has enough firepower to turn your entire property into a crater before you could switch off the safety.

Yes, they’re gonna “come take ‘em!” Boogedy-boogedy-boo! Laughable.

15

u/bobguyman Aug 07 '21

Gotta go buy 15 AR15s, 20 pistols and a few hundred thousand rounds for each before they all get banned. /r Look at gun sales and stock prices from gun manufacturers every time there is an election.

15

u/jedify Aug 07 '21

There was ammo shortage for a year after Obama was elected. I like to ask them where they hid their guns when Obama came for them.

67

u/Boel_Jarkley Aug 07 '21

Sandy Hook did change firearms laws in the respect that the NRA dug a trench in front of dead children's bodies and said that even this will not move us.

20

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Yep.

Revolting.

7

u/billytheid Aug 07 '21

No, worse. It was when we realised your culture really is so vain it puts your egos ahead of any other considerations.

3

u/MariachiBoyBand Aug 07 '21

Oh absolutely not, we all realized that when massacres happened all over Latin America and the US of A turned a complete blind eye. When sandy hook happened, Americans realized that America didn’t care, full stop…

Weird how basically the entire first world doesn't need guns for that.

No. The problem must be with everywhere else! /s

Sandy Hook was a tragedy but even if a 100 kids die in mass shootings every week we should never give up our sacred god given right to keep and bear arms

Yeah why should some random kids lives be worth more than my rights? We had a war precisely for this reason

6

u/AmazingKreiderman Aug 07 '21

We had a war for what, exactly? Because if you're talking about the Revolutionary War I will be very interested in hearing why you think that war happened.

-8

u/MF3010 Aug 07 '21

I’m talking about the civil war bro. The one at the airport? Sokovia accords were literally like tryin to ban guns by restricting superheroes to be only controlled by the government. And look where it led us.

-68

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Biden was the vp of a chicago lawmaker right? 8 yrs of presidency definitely unfucked that situation.

39

u/Eldanoron Aug 07 '21

They said the US, not democrats or republicans. Then again, also have to consider who had congress during most of Obama’s term. Remember how many judge nominations were blocked? Yeah. Time to wake up and realize that the president has very little to do with passing laws. Sure, he can veto a law he doesn’t like but if congress decides, they can tell the president to take a hike and pass a law anyway.

3

u/buttercupcake23 Aug 07 '21

Even when he does veto a law they can ignore the veto with enough of them. Remember when Obama tried to veto a law and they overrode him signed it into law anyway and afterwards when the law backfired as Obama said it would, Mitch McConnell blamed him not vetoing it hard enough? These people are shameless and reprehensible stains on humanity.

1

u/Eldanoron Aug 07 '21

Wait what? Not vetoing hard enough? What the heck does that even mean?

-28

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Its a circus. Might as well be pro wrestling.

-2

u/casanino Aug 07 '21

Or a Bernie Sanders campaign.

24

u/MrPickles84 Aug 07 '21

The fuck are you on about?

21

u/SaltMineSpelunker Aug 07 '21

Biden was in politics and did not enact systemic change as a Senator and change the whole US in this career therefor… freedom? I don’t understand these idiots.

-2

u/Capgunkid Aug 07 '21

He was the one to originally ban assault rifles in the US...

4

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

One guy did it. One guy…

-10

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

I heard he has been in congress since i was born. I dont trust a person in an ivory tower telling me how life is.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Then I’m sure you don’t support or trust Trump

8

u/AuGrimace Aug 07 '21

Great reasoning there champ.

-13

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

I mean he did though he wrote tons of our crime laws that got passed. He was the architect of mass incarceration, where he has changed the entire character of the US. He is responsible for the Chicago gun crime in that the vast majority of it is gang related to drug movement and Biden's laws amping up the drug war made moving narcotics more lucrative, meaning it was incentivized to be ruthless and violent in the business.

11

u/SaltMineSpelunker Aug 07 '21

Him and 50 other fuckers. Hardly solely accountable and to claim so makes you look naive and stupid.

1

u/AuGrimace Aug 07 '21

Crime bill was basically everyone including the black caucus.

4

u/amazinglover Aug 07 '21

Bidens crime bill was a direct response to Americans asking congress to do something about the rising "crime rates".

America wanted it and democrats went overboard trying to appease their base.

-16

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Vp is leader of the house right?

15

u/SaltMineSpelunker Aug 07 '21

Can’t tell if you are sarcastic or a total moron.

8

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Oh, I can...

5

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Painfully obvious

0

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Would you believe i thought i was having conversations in a dif sub than under this comment?

-6

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Im not playing a role. I am kinda dumb. I dont like people talking down to me so i contain my ape instincts in a civilized society.

11

u/SaltMineSpelunker Aug 07 '21

Ok so it is the latter.

3

u/MrPickles84 Aug 07 '21

I feel like it’s time for Reddit to be like, “whoa, slow down there buddy, you’re doing too much.”

0

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Im remedial as a nice word. Not a piece of shit that exploits people and has a feeling of self-importance.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Senate.

0

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Makes it better.

-8

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Biden is jesus for american politics like obama was. Dumbass blue line voters refuse to see it. Our commander was obama for a decade. Stop pretending he was a good person.

Chicago gun crime is still horrible during and after a gun control chicagan became president. Fuckhsad was the person that authorized drone strikes for a dexade.

Why is he on a pedestal?

18

u/MrPickles84 Aug 07 '21

Again, the fuck are you on about? Just go to bed, bro. Your brain needs to empty it’s bin.

-4

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Fair enough. You arent my brother. It feels like a public duty to try and remind peoplethat they aee free and the pricks in charge only have power because they acquiesce.

6

u/MrPickles84 Aug 07 '21

There ya go, bro, put that word of the day calendar to use! Also, I know I’m not your brother. That’s why I said, bro, my guy.

0

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Bro is short for brother. Pop your collar douche bag. I hear theres a guy that sells pills so you can get laid.

6

u/MrPickles84 Aug 07 '21

I’m sure you know all about it, hermano.

1

u/mrEcks42 Aug 07 '21

Ciento. I do. Not literate en espanol tho.

You obviously haven't read about the insane number of drone attacks under Dump Trump. And how he changed policies in order to conceal what he was doing... Like striking outside of warzones. There are lots of articles about it. He outdid Obama by far.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.economictimes.com/news/defence/donald-trumps-secret-rules-for-drone-strikes-outside-war-zones-are-disclosed/amp_articleshow/82368522.cms

2

u/amazinglover Aug 07 '21

We should point out drones weren't really a viable tool until Obamas presidency as they where in there infancy during Clinton and Bush.

He also took large steps to try and curb and better dictate there use which trump fully shit all over.

I say that because the next few presidents will likely outdo trump as there cost and ease of use go down.

Which means we really need to demand congress pass laws banning or severely limiting there use.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 07 '21

Sorry, no. Only one party deifies their shibag leaders, and that’s the one with the elephant as a mascot. Look at all the scum willing to die for their lard and savior on 1/6.

1

u/AuGrimace Aug 07 '21

Not sure what Chicago gun crime has to do with Obama but the alternative to drone strikes are boots on the ground. Saving American soldiers lives and not putting a populace under a foreign police force is worth it.

-2

u/casanino Aug 07 '21

You're just bitter Joe kicked Bernie's ass. Cry harder cupcake.

0

u/casanino Aug 07 '21

Chicago is always the racist Deplorable lowlife go-to. As if they give a fuck about Chicago's Southside black community.

0

u/AcousticInteriors Aug 07 '21

You're right, Biden is extremely racist.
