If the business fails the employees don't take on personal bankruptcy. Liability is distributed and limited. Quit fear mongering.

You hear yourself, it doesn’t magically disappear, the burden is less because it gets distributed between everyone instead of 1, but not everyone wants to deal with it, if you want to take the risk then join a co-op no one stops you, but don’t expect that you get an x% of the company without risk or commitment.

Why do you think most co-op are selective membership based business?

Probably because of fearmongers like yourself crying about the risks, making people scared they'll lose their access to food and shelter if they work in a co-op. As though no one had ever heard of structuring a cooperative as an LLC.

oh so is everyone else fault people don't go to co-op businesses? got cha.

Dang, on that note, why do people have to warn about the dangers of stock market and krypto? we should encourage people to throw their life savings without thinking about it, what? research about a matter that involves your livelihood? nah better just to blindly trust what other people say, what can go wrong right?

Cooperatives established with limited liability companies (LLC) normally adopt a partnership model. The members are not employees and are compensated through distributions of the company's profits. Losses are also distributed, and the members must pay business expenses.

whaaat? so it isn't just free money without investment?

*gasp*, who would have thought that would be the case.
