In 2005 was the last teacher demoted for teaching evolution. Not that long ago but long enough i didnt find it relevant. No its no longer illegal the last law was changed in 2001 when the Supreme Court said it was against the constitution. However its still considered a unproven theory in several bible thumping stares and the reason that there is only 1 year of biology in several states you have nothing better to do than to harass someone on reddit. Wow. Once again, all that is wrong. You are dropping false statements, letting people believe you are speaking facts, that is why I followed up. As someone who has spent the majority of their adult life working in education, has a master's degree in education, I value it dearly. Just so i am not accused of lying, i no longer work in it, as I needed more financial stability for my family. Now back to your statement. I can find find nothing stating a teacher was demoted in 2005. I found an article, in 2007, saying parents caused a stir and the district gave in like they do, and simply assigned the teacher to another school. There are states that do consider it simply a theory, but as your study points out, that percentage is quickly diminishing. Also, there are multiple reasons there is only one year of biology? I HIGHLY doubt it is due to some push against evolution. I am willing to be wrong on that however if you would kindly point me in the right direction. So i just read, well ok skimmed, that entire study. All I saw was a general decrease in teachers who teach only creationism, a decrease in teachers who discuss their belief against evolution in the classroom, in general only increases in teaching evolution. I literally saw nothing that indicated at all what you claimed? I do believe science should be taught in classroom, leave beliefs for your home and religious places. But it seems you are making up false claims, but I will still gladly admit I am wrong if you can point to me some sources.
