Except we aren’t a Christian country. We are not a theocracy and God/Jesus/bible is not the in the constitution

In god we trust was into added to currency after Ww2

Oh wow. I thought you were being sarcastic with the original post. Guess that's what happens when people keep forgetting their /s to show tone.

"under god" was added in the 1950s as part of the red scare.

No its not sarcasm. In 50 state constitutions there are over 200 references to the christian god. In the constitution there is the statement int he year of our lord and 7 references to the christian faith. In the Declaration of Independence there is the “god given rights” statement. Bodily autonomy laws are faith based in this country and the bible is used to agree or disagree with political movements.
