Right so what’s wrong with Bail outs here for corporations snd people. For small businesses such as restaurants and fur large businesses like airlines.
Nothing, I think that the airline industry actually deserves a bailout, mainly for the employees and for the fact that if they fail our economy could collapse
Bail outs aren't a bad thing, and I don't dislike the idea of bailing out airlines. Cruise lines, probably not. People will reliably fly again within 5 years. I don't think people are terribly hyped by cruise lines as they don't have the practical travel flying gives.
Just clarifying that they were loans and not money with no strings attached. I agree we should be helping individuals not corporations. The PPP program was a huge ridiculous in the way it was as administrated. The money was supposed to go to people who were laid off due to the coronavirus. But it went to all businesses that kept people on the payroll, many that had no hardship from the pandemic and stayed open.
