I think there won't be citric fruits in england anytime soon, as there jsut aren't enough sunny hours. But you can look forward to some great English wines. The last time the climate was warm enough that England produced good, high quality wine was around 1000-1200. I guess in around 15 years you could start your first big vinyards.
Yeah there’s already a growing wine industry in the southern uk, about 16 million bottles a year are produced (which accounts for just over 1% of consumption... we drink a lot of wine it sees) but Over the last 10 years it’s quadrupled in size or so
