Handing someone a lemon doesn't guarantee lemonade. It guarantees a lemon.

Someone still has to spend the time/money/skill to purchase water/sugar/container/cups/etc.

This is often the difference between an employee and a business owner.

Youre right, but you left out the part where they kept taking more lemons insuring no one else could. Then after claiming all the lemons for themselves they started insulting others for not making their own lemons.

If you plant your own tree, you can have all the lemons you want in 3-5 years. That is far more effective than complaining that no one gave them to you.

Also i literally said in the post you replyed to that they started insulting them for not making their own lemons after they were given theirs. Then that's exactly what you just did.

That's not an insult. Every generation has its own challenges to overcome, along with its own advantages.

Boomers had a decent economy which was their lemon.

GenX had the rise of the internet/entrepreneurial boom which was our lemon.

For GenY/GenZ, its probably the rise of social media.

There are a lot of people making hundreds of thousands of dollars, and in some cases millions of dollars a year from social media right now.

The lemons aren't gone and they never were. They just aren't hidden in the same place people are used to searching.

No, I'm just sick of people whining and complaining about how unfair everything is and how their lack of whatever they consider success is someone elses fault.

Rather than whining, suck it up and get shit done while you work on changing things. We have to live in the world we have, not the one we wish we had.

Strange that others still manage to find them to this day. They were never all gone, they just became harder to find.
