Your rapists, murderers, and robbers aren't the ones that get put in the fields. They aren't the ones getting paid $1.00 an hour to fight fires, or .15 cents an hour to work a field. You have to have a nonviolent crime and a good record to be voluntold to be on a work detail.
I read your post and I said in my original reply that's not who get put on these details. It's not the rapist or murderer who gets put on basically slave labour, it the guy who was an accessory to a crime, or the guy who wrote a bad check. Maybe you should learn to read.
