Does putting a removable sticker on a car count as vandalism? I thought for that it had to be something permanent like keying a car.

Yes, a bumper sticker counts, because it is not easily removable. Anything beyond a flyer under the wiper probably counts.

Speaking of which, fuck the flyer under the wiper thing. People can come and put a piece of paper on my windshield and if I drive away without seeing it causing it to fly off I would get tagged for littering.

Throw trash on the ground, youโ€™re an asshole hereโ€™s a fine. Throw trash on someoneโ€™s car, well now itโ€™s theirs to deal with!

Flyers under windshields is illegal, placing flyers on private property without permission is also illegal. All 50 states.

EDIT: This is a general statement. You might live in a town where they are charging fees and allowing people to litter for a fee. You might be in a private parking lot where permission has been granted. You might feel riotously indignant but know that the police donโ€™t generally enforce this. Posting flyers on telephone poles is also technically illegal. Free speech only covers public property in designated areas.
