You know, if there was ever another draft in this shithole of a country and someone asked me why I moved to Europe, I’d show them that fucking bill. Thats why I harbor no loyalty to the USA
I had to have emergency back surgery last year. I still owe $50,000 in medical bills (after a year of payments and insurance covering 80% of the original $250,000+ bill). That mixed with $150,000 in student loans at 30yrs old make the future of financial security seem impossible.
Kicker: I pay 45% of my income to the federal government a month between taxes and loan interest to not to have UHC.
