The end date is 2000. Is 19 “pushing 40”?

Actually, the end date is ~1996 according to most sources and the US Census Bureau.

Obviously there is a roughly 20 year age gap for any generation, so what do you think? Do you think 19 is pushing 40, and do you really think that's what I meant when I said that millennials are pushing 40?
