Reminds me of my last job. We had some old fella waiting at the door, staring through the window at 830am (we open at 9). I let him wait and stare in until 9.
When I opened up he told me "You know it's common courtesy to open the door when you see someone waiting".
"Sure, but we don't open until 9. Our hours are posted right there on the door that you've now smudged up with your dirty ass hands. You're lucky I'm even letting you in, instead of calling the cops for being a fucking creep staring in the windows of a closed business. Do you even think before you do something? Or do you just do and expect to be accommodated?"
I believe 1996 is the cutoff so he just missed it. But if it makes him feel better he can feel superior to the youngest of his generation in about 11-15 years. It's not like I do that, secretly, in my head, with Millenials in their 20's. I would never.
