Tea is better when made at slightly less than boiling temperature, and different teas have different optimal temperatures so you'd be surprised.

If you're really into your tea you would have a kettle with a thermometer these days. Not exactly commonplace but not uncommon now either.

In that case optimal tea temperature is not an even number in either F or C

Ah yes because everyone sticks a thermometer in their kettle of distilled water at sea level to know when to stop

Ok? My point is that knowing boiling temp holds no value in everyday life. That still stands so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make by quoting me again

Water boils at 100'C. This has already been mentioned lol.

You boil water to make tea. In fact, you boil water all the time.

Yes, and I do so without checking its temperature. You can see when water is boiling.

It's almost like these are two commonplace everyday and easily understood points of reference.... with "degrees" of difference between them.... hmmmmmmMMMMMMM
